Casey Jo Ailes graduated from the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, IN in 2001 with a BFA of Fine Arts in Painting and Photography. Her photos have been published in numerous publications including the New York Times and Photographer's Forum. Casey worked as the writer and photographer for the Queen Anne Magazine in Seattle from 2019-2020, photographing locals and sharing their stories. Casey currently spends her time teaching online painting classes for kids and adults ages 4 to 75 to raise money for a local food bank in Seattle. She has been teaching art classes for over 20 years to all ages in several mediums. 

Her painting career has been equally as successful with works exhibited  in multiple galleries nationwide. In 2009 she placed 1st in the Midwest National Abstract Art Exhibit with her entry, "Not Polar Bear Food" winning praise from the head curator. 

Casey continues to paint, photograph and create designs from her home in Seattle, WA. She published her first children's story in 2017 about eco-friendly super heroes and is excited to be working on more inspiring children's stories to share with the world.
